Can you tell me if a Samuel Clarke Jannise once owned or rented Alfoxton House. Relatives of my husband William Heale (a coachman) and Sophia Bowden (she a housemaid) lived there while in service. The house number is 254 Hendongate I believe hard to understand. This is from census 1871. Thanks in advance. Judith Harris
