The sign in the Badger Bar at the Glen Rothay says "the soup is VERY nice". The story is that a customer kept asking if the 'soup was nice' ...which frustrated the chef who came out to the bar, wrote this sign, and then went back to the kitchen with a great slamming of doors. Later owners took the sign down but the locals objected so the sign went back up. The soup is still nice.
