Susan Gasson at Hawkeshead Grammar School
Susan at Hawkeshead Grammar School, primary school for Wordsworth. Latin and Greek were compulsory and there was no such subject as English literature. In Wordsworth's day the school has an excellent reputation for preparing students for Cambridge.
